Skyreach is downloading its search index to your device now. This happens just once and takes about 1–3 minutes.

On mobile data? The initial download is relatively small, but it does use a significant amount of data. Please be mindful of your plan, as we can't take responsibility for any carrier charges!

If you want to be extra careful, feel free to visit again later when you're on Wi-Fi.

Can I use Skyreach instead of Google?

Absolutely! While Google searches the entire "wild" web, Skyreach is a cleaner, private alternative for finding high-quality info without ads or tracking. It’s perfect for when you want fast answers without being followed around the internet.

Does Skyreach track my searches?

Never! Everything stays on your device. Your searches are private to you—they aren't sent to a server, and there are zero analytics or data collection scripts running in the background.

Does it work without internet?

Mostly! You'll need a connection to first load the app, but if your internet drops while Skyreach is open, you can still search the local index! Just keep in mind that opening result links or generating AI overviews will still need a live connection.

Why is there a download on first use?

To keep your searches private, Skyreach moves the "brain" of the search engine onto your device. It downloads the index once so it can look things up locally instead of asking a server what you're looking for!

Will I ever need to redownload the data?

Occasionally! When we release a big update with tons of new pages and improvements, a full redownload might happen to keep everything fresh. Don't worry though—these updates don't happen too often!

Why is the index smaller than a giant search engine?

Since the index lives in your browser, we keep it lean and efficient. It covers a massive range of popular and useful topics perfectly, and the AI features help fill in the gaps for more specific queries.

Is Skyreach a finished product?

It’s an evolving project! We’re constantly adding new features and making the search smarter. If you ever run into a little hiccup, a quick refresh of the page usually clears things right up! 😄
